Little over a year ago, a did a 3 week juice feast. It turned out to be an incredibly clarifying experience. I had inspiration to write, I constantly felt the divine presence, I could basically take on the world :-)
Juice Feasting 101
During a juice feast, you only eat fruit and vegetable juices. Not smoothies, but juices (so filtered smoothies). Since it is a feast, not a fast, it is all about abundance. You can drink as much as you want.
The 92-day juice feasting program was developped by David Rainoshek. David has studied with Dr. Gabriel Cousins and has done the feast himself three times. He has set up an extensive website offering day to day support.
Because your body is not getting any fiber at all, it finally has the time to digest all of those 'things' that are lying around in you bowels and other parts of your body. A great detox. But, because you are actually taking in tons of easy digestable minerals through the juice, your body is greatly sustained during the detox.
I did this cleanse when I was working, and that went perfectly. However, this is not a time to exercise much. Make some time for your self. It's highly worth it.
How I started
I ran across a video from Angela Stokes (see below) that really inspired me. The clarity and joy she was experiencing was addictive. I decided to buy her ebook on juice feasting and get started. I also accessed David Rainoshek's website for some in-depth information.
Everything I read in Angela's ebook and blog was amazing. People even experienced tooth cavities growing back because of the surge of minerals in the system. I decided to give it a try... for a few days. A few days eventually became a few weeks. I am definatly going to do the 92 days sometime soon, it's a very unique experience.
