Juice Feast - Day 4 - Clarity comes in...

It's funny to see where life takes us. But it's even funnier to see that we actually go there ourselves...

22:04 Drank around 2-3 liters today. Of which around 1 liter just before going to bed... mmm perhaps not the smartest decision... but I felt like it. I did not remember to take a bottle of water to work.. in the morning... AND in the afternoon :-/ I got really thirsty and I really refuse to drink chlorinated/fluorised Antwerp city tab water. Ah well, I made up for it as soon as I got home, AND I already have my bottle ready for tomorrow :-)

Natural bowel movements did not occur today, so I started with an enema to keep the cleansing going. I am really starting to enjoy this juicing. I love the feeling of always having plenty in the house and eating as much as you can (well, drinking as much as you can).

Today, I tried a new juice: pumpkin with a little cayenne pepper. Great! Cayenne is great to give the metabolism a boost. You might have noticed that I like to keep my juices simple. I generally don't combine more than 2-3 different fruits or vegetables. Most ideas and guidelines I follow come from Angela Stoke's ebook, which so far is the only fantastic resource I got about juice feasting. So far my two favourite juices are:
- straight cantaloupe (melon) juice
- celery / pear juice

Although it was inhumanly cold weather today and still snowing... I went into the city after word to run some errands. I didn't feel like cycling, so I took the bus/tram/metro... Last year, I spend 3 hours on the commute a day... ever since then I always seem to feel a bit more at home on the bus. I enjoy the contact with people. So I got to the print shop at 17:59 (yes it closes at 18:00 :-), I got to city hall in time. This time I brought my mp3 to listen to Michel Thomas Japanese whilst I sat in the overcrowded waiting room for 30 minutes. After that, I stopped in the supermarket for some water and some more cantaloupes... and when on home. It was a peaceful and relaxing evening in a way. Nice to do things you have lying around for a long time.

oyasumi!
